hey everyone!!this is my first post of the year=D sry i was supposed to update yesterday but i was way too tired and lazy. yesterday was first day at HCI! omg the amount of people there was jus so huge it hit me like a bang. 1000+ people. goodness. the first part was totally B-O-R-I-N-G. the principals speech was such a pain to listen to cos firstly his english was so bad and secondly he thought he was very funny:/ next came all the academic talks....we sat in that audi all the way till 2? bleurgh!! den we assembled in our ogs and had ice breakers. half of my og was filled with chinese high guys. next we learnt 3 mass dances. haha. quite fun, but got sian after a while. den we sang chinese songs :S (no comments pls). thats about it! sounds quite boring rite. haha. i dunno la, im trying my best to like it. oh did i mention i saw many of my ole pri sch friends (weiling amanda huang jessica xinli), carolanne my neighbour, audrey my sec2 german friend, and yourong my HK friend! it was so cool la. i was like omg this is such a concidence. today was day 2. the first part was as boring as yesterday with talks and talks and talks. next was mass dance and chinese song session again. (dun they ever get bored of those) den it was games! i had to crawl about in the mud with grass all over. YUCK so gross then it rained and i took the bus home, it was so crowded i had to stand for 40min! i was so tired i kept stumbling cos i kept falling asleep. yup, so thats jc. i still feel a little out of place sometimes but ill try to fit in. the people there are nice but the culture needs some getting used to. haha. anw on the 31st i met up with shu fly! watched curse of the golden flower. talked a lot, walked all over orchard. listened to all the gossips in her school =P then we went to raffles place for the countdown. the fireworks were beautiful=) gluck for your exams faye!=) on the first was bbq with my relatives. and on the 2nd was lunch with my grandmas. oh ya i forgot to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! =) well, its school again tmr, time to play with more mud:/ |
